This site was originally published in 1999. It was revised when I learned that some (whole pages) of my material posted on the site was copied and published in a book without any credit. In violation
of both copyright laws and Scouting principles. At that time, I removed the drafts of the first four chapters of the book to protect my research.
A couple of years ago, I removed the site when I
obtained threatening letters. At the time, it did not seem to be worth all the hassle I was getting. However, in 2003 I realized had invested too much time, energy and money in this project not to see it through. Now that
I have recommitted myself to finishing the book, I decided to republish the web site.
As of 17 August 2003, Version 2.0 of the Catholic Scouting web site is on-line. For frequent visitors to the site, I will list major changes/additions to the site on this page -- if they're not posted on
the home page -- when they happen.
